I've had a few people during lockdown ask what I'm doing with all this cake since I can't bring it to my office/friends. My answer? I freeze it! And then I take that frozen cake and make a milkshake, because I am trying to live my best life.

It was actually Will who thought of this. He asked to freeze some cake way back in the beginning of 2020, when we were still naive, sweet Summer children who had no clue what was coming. When I saw him take out the frozen cake slices to make a milkshake, I was sort of horrified? But once I tasted it I came round real quick.
This is hardly even a 'recipe' so I'm almost embarrassed to share it, but if you need something to cool down with + you have extra cake at home then maybe it's helpful. This was using my yellow cake with chocolate frosting, then adding some vanilla ice cream and milk. That's it! I added sprinkles on top because sprinkles = life.
