Frosted Sugar Cookies 

In a mixer, combine butter with sugar until light and fluffy. 

Add 1 egg, vanilla and almond extract (this is optional!)

Add flour and salt, mixing on low until combined.

Roll out the dough until it is 1/4 inch thick, chill for 1 hour.

Cut out your shapes and chill for another 30 minutes. Bake!

Whisk powdered sugar, vanilla, water and corn syrup to make a shiny icing. 

Add sprinkles and then let the icing set!
