White Forest Cake

How to Make

This delicious White Forest Cake is made with soft and fluffy vanilla cake, homemade cherry preserves, and a vanilla whipped cream that is made from scratch. 

- Flour - Yogurt - Sugar - Butter - Eggs - Baking Powder & Soda - Milk - Vanilla - Salt - Heavy Cream - Cherries - Cornstarch - Kirsch

Gather your Ingredients

In a stand mixer, combine all of the dry ingredients and add your butter. Mix with the paddle attachment until it looks like damp sand.

Make the Cake

Add in the egg whites and egg, then whisk all of your wet ingredients in a jug. Slowly pour it into the batter.

Pour the cake batter into 2 greased and lined 8-inch cake pans and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Place all of your filling ingredients in a small saucepan and cook on medium-high for 6 minutes. Pour into a bowl and let cool.

Make your Cherry FIlling

In a stand mixer, whip up your heavy cream, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until you have medium peaks.

Make your Whipped Cream

Take one cake layer and smooth over half of your whipped cream. Top with half the cherries and then repeat.

Assemble the Cake
