Vanilla Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Combine softened butter with oil and sugar until creamy and fluffy.

Add vanilla and almond extract. Then add 4 eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.

Whisk all of the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. 

Add the dry ingredients in 3 additions, alternating with buttermilk.

Bake in 2 cake pans and let cool completely. 

Make the frosting. Combine butter with confectioners' sugar.

Mix in melted chocolate and cocoa powder.

Assemble your cake! Spread frosting on one layer, top with second layer and frost sides and top.
