Strawberry Apple Crisp

This simple strawberry crisp recipe uses fresh strawberries and apples. It is covered in a delicious crunchy streusel topping. 

Combine all the streusel ingredients with the cold butter, mix together until everything is moistened. Chill. 

Slice up your strawberries and chop up your peeled and cored apples in a large bowl. Mix with sugar, cornstarch and salt.

Pour your filling into a greased 9 inch deep dish pie plate.

Sprinkle over your chilled streusel topping. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. 

Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving with a scoop of ice cream!
