Pumpkin Custard Pie

Step 1: Roll out your pie dough and place in your dish. Crimp the edges.

Step 2: Line with foil and fill with pie weights or beans. Bake, this is going to make sure we don't have a soggy bottom of the pie!

Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the white sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract.

Step 4: Add the pumpkin puree, spices and salt. Whisk until smooth.

Step 5: Whisk in the sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.

Step 6: Pour the pumpkin pie filling into your parbaked pie crust. Bake for 45-55 minutes. 

You can roll out any pie dough scraps to create pie crust cookies! 

Serve with homemade whipped cream.
