Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Melt butter in a saucepan. Heat it until the butter begins to brown. Pour into a bowl.

Whisk all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Add the light brown sugar, sugar and maple syrup to the browned butter.

Whisk in the egg, vanilla extract and pumpkin puree.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, then stir in the chocolate chips. You can use semisweet or white.

Scoop out 3 tablespoons of cookie dough. Roll in pumpkin pie sugar. Chill for 30 minutes.

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven! Press on extra white chocolate chips after baking.

Let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
