Pie Dough Recipe

 Whisk together flour, sugar and salt.

Add sliced cold butter and toss in the flour. Smoosh the butter with your fingers. 

Drizzle over ice water, you want the water to be super cold!

Toss until you have a shaggy mass of dough.

Divide into two discs and wrap in plastic, chill for at least 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle.

Fold it onto itself like an envelope. This is going to give you flakey layers!

Wrap back in plastic and chill for at least 2 hours. 

Roll out your pie dough and place in a 9" pie plate. Crimp and it's ready to use!
