Nutella Babka

This soft and fluffy babka is filled a chocolate hazelnut spread and chopped hazelnuts. I love having a slice with my morning coffee!

Mix your yeast, milk and one tablespoon of sugar together. Leave for 10-15 minutes 

In a stand mixer, mix the dry ingredients with your eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix for 10 minutes.

Add the butter a piece at a time and then once incorporated, let it rise until doubled in size. 

Wrap up the dough and chill for at least 1 hour. This will improve the flavor. 

Roll out the dough and spread over your Nutella and chopped hazelnuts.

Tightly roll it up like you would with a cinnamon roll. Chill for 20 minutes, then cut in half. 

Place one log over the other to form an X, then twist the upper half and lower half twice. 

Carefully place into a greased and lined loaf pan. Let it rise for another 45 minutes, then bake for 45 minutes!
