Glazed Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies 

These soft and spiced chocolate gingerbread cookies are glazed with a brandy icing.  These are my absolutely favorite Christmas cookie!

In a small saucepan, heat the treacle, golden syrup and sugar. Let cool and whisk in your egg.

Whisk together all of your dry ingredients, making sure it everything is thoroughly mixed. 

Pour your wet ingredients into your dry and use a spoon to mix everything together 

Use your hands to knead the dough until it's stiff. Place your dough in the fridge to chill for 2 hours

Roll out your dough and use a cookie stamp to emboss the dough, then use a circular cookie cutter to cut them out

While the cookies are baking, whisk together the glaze ingredients. Brush the warm cookies with the glaze
