German Gingerbread Cookies

Step 1: In a small saucepan, heat the molasses, golden syrup and sugar. Let cool and whisk in your egg.

Step 2: Whisk together all of your dry ingredients, making sure it everything is thoroughly mixed. 

Step 3: Pour your wet ingredients into your dry and use a spoon to mix everything together 

Step 4: Use your hands to knead the dough until it's stiff. Place your dough in the fridge to chill for 2 hours

Step 5: Roll out your dough and use a cookie stamp to emboss the dough, then use a circular cookie cutter to cut them out

Step 6: While the cookies are baking, whisk together the glaze ingredients.

Step 7: Brush the warm cookies with the glaze

Enjoy with a glass of milk!
