Ganache Frosting

Chop up your chocolate and place in a large bowl.

Heat heavy cream until scalding, then pour over chocolate. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Stir until smooth, then let sit at room temperature for an hour or two, or until firm. 

Use an electric hand mixer to mix until light and fluffy.

Top cupcakes or cakes with this ganache!
