Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step 1: Whisk melted butter with light brown sugar and sugar until very thick. 

Step 2: Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Beat until thick and smooth.

Step 3: Use a rubber spatula to fold in flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 4: Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop out 1.5 tablespoons of dough. Add extra chips on top of each dough ball.

Step 5: Bake for 9-12 minutes. Once out of the oven use a biscuit cutter to 'scoot' the cookies into a perfect circle.
