Snickerdoodle Cupcakes with Brown Sugar Frosting

These gorgeous cinnamon swirl cupcakes are so simple to make! They're frosted with a cinnamon brown sugar buttercream.

Whisk your flour, salt and baking powder together. 

Whisk your cinnamon and sugar together and set aside. This will be for your cinnamon swirl.

In a stand mixer, cream your butter for 2-3 minutes until it is light and airy. 

Add your eggs, vanilla extract and sour cream. Make sure to scrape down the bowl! 

Add your dry ingredients and mix on low speed. Pour in your buttermilk. 

Place a tablespoon of batter in each liner, then 1 tsp of cinnamon sugar. Repeat once more and bake! 

Make your frosting. Cream butter and brown sugar, then add the rest of the ingredients. Use right away!
