Cinnamon Cupcakes

Whisk sugar and cinnamon together to make cinnamon sugar. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar in a stand mixer, or with a hand mixer, until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract and sour cream. Combine everything until well mixed.

Add the dry ingredients on low speed. 

With the mixer running, slowly pour in buttermilk.

Scoop 1 tablespoon of batter into each cupcake liner. Sprinkle over cinnamon sugar, then repeat. Bake! 

Mix butter and light brown sugar together. Then add in the confectioners' sugar. 

Beat until very thick. Add in the vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon. 

Frost each cinnamon cupcake with the frosting. Sprinkle over extra cinnamon sugar.
