Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake

This buttery soft pound cake is loaded up with mini chocolate chips! I covered it with a delicious chocolate ganache. 

Whisk together the flour, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl.

In a stand mixer, cream your butter until smooth.  Add your sugar and beat on medium-high speed for 3-4 minutes

Add your eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Fold in the dry ingredients and then fold in your mini chocolate chips. 

Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 80 minutes. 

Heat up your heavy cream and then pour over chopped chocolate. Whisk until smooth.

Once the loaf is completely cool, cover it with the chocolate ganache.
