Butterscotch Cake

Make butterscotch. Combine dark brown sugar, heavy cream, butter, and salt in a pan until boiling. Let cool. 

Whisk light brown sugar and eggs together for 1 minute. Pour in the cooled butterscotch sauce and whisk. 

Whisk in the yogurt, oil, vanilla extract and salt until smooth. 

Fold in all of the dry ingredients until there are no more streaks of flour.

Pour into a greased and lined 8x8 baking pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Cream butter and confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Add the rest of the butterscotch sauce. 

Frost the cooled cake!
