Garlic Dinner Rolls

In a jug, whisk together the warm milk with the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

In a stand mixer, combine the flour with the butter, remaining sugar, egg, egg yolk and salt. 

Beat on low speed for 2 minutes. Then turn the speed to medium for 2-3 minutes. 

Lightly oil the bowl and cover it with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap. 

Let it rise for 60-90 minutes, the time depends on how warm your kitchen is! 

Divide the dough into 12 equal sized pieces and roll into smooth dough balls.

Grease a 9x13 or 8x10 pan. Place each dough ball in the buttered pan.

Let the dough balls rise once more, then brush with a beaten egg and bake. 

Once out of the oven, brush with melted butter, garlic and herbs. Let cool before enjoying!
