Bourbon Apple Pie

Ingredients needed for the dough:

Mix together your dry ingredients, then toss in your butter cubes 

In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix on low until the butter is the size of peas

With the speed on low, slowly pour in your water and vinegar until it is wet enough

Wrap up in clingfilm and chill for a few hours, but it is better if you can chill it overnight

Ingredients needed for the bourbon apple filling:

Place your apples, brown sugar and lemon juice in a pan and let it sit for 45 minutes

Heat up for 5-8 minutes, then add your bourbon, salt and vanilla. Pour into a tray to cool 

Roll out your pie dough and place into your plate. Pour your filling in and chill for 15 minutes

Roll out the other half of dough and cut into strips. Weave into a lattice and bake for 75 minutes
