Banana Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Whisk melted butter with mashed banana in a large bowl.

Whisk in sugar and light brown sugar. Then add in buttermilk, eggs and vanilla extract. 

Fold in all of the dry ingredients - flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.

Pour into a greased and lined 8x8 baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

In a stand mixer, or with a hand held mixer, cream butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy. 

Pour in cocoa powder, melted chocolate and sour cream. Beat until smooth. 

Top the cooled banana cake with chocolate frosting and slices of banana!
