Strawberry Filled Cupcakes

1. Place strawberry filling ingredients in a pan. 

2. Cook on the stovetop until thick. 

3. Pour into a bowl and let cool while you make the cupcakes. 

4. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. 

5. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl. 

6. Add the egg and vanilla extract. 

7. Add the sour cream, then the dry ingredients and buttermilk. 

8. Bake the cupcakes in the oven. 

9. Beat butter and powdered sugar together until thick and fluffy. 

10. Add freeze-dried strawberry powder and mix. 

11. Use a piping tip to core the cooled cupcakes, then fill them in with the jam. 

12. Top with the strawberry buttercream and enjoy!
